National Day holidays declared for public and private sectors

The UAE Ministry of Labour has confirmed that the private sector will get a day's paid holiday on National Day, on 2 December.

The UAE Ministry of Labour has confirmed that the public sector will get a five-day break for the UAE’s 43rd National Day.

All ministries and federal departments will be closed from Tuesday 2 – Thursday 4 December, with work resuming on Sunday 7 December 2014.

The private sector will get a day’s paid holiday, on Tuesday 2 December.

It had been rumored all companies would get 3 December off as well.
