  • Customers cannot open an account until all the documentations are received by the bank and are in opinion of the bank’s requirements.
  • For current account, the issued cheque book by the bank will be sent to the customer via courier/mail at customer’s responsibility to the address which was specified in the account application form.
  • In case of any joint accounts, the account holders shall nominate one of them to be in charge of all the dealings and correspondence with the bank.
  • Non-residents are allowed to open savings account in few banks but opening a current account is prohibited.
  • The customer must inform the bank on any change in the detail provided in customer information/account opening form.
