Motor shows are a great time of the year for all the car enthusiasts. Dubai Motor Show 2017 gained a lot of attention and was a massive hit due to main focus on future of technology. The show presented next generation automobiles from automated/ driverless cars, connected and electric cars, flying cars and more. All the big brands presented their marvellous products that made fans swoon.
Infiniti
Infiniti QX80 full-size luxury SUV for the first time at the Dubai Motor Show. UAE has enthusiasm for SUV’s and the model was well-received. Aesthetics of the car have a bold design, a spacious cabin with a drive-assist set of technologies. Boasting a 5.6-liter V8 engine and comfortable suspension elevates the pleasure.
Aston Martin
Aston Martin presented Valkyrie hypercar for the first time in the region along with newly launched V8-powered DB11. Also, Vanquish S Pearl Edition limited to just 10 models and inspired by the region’s long association with the pearl industry. It follows the same line of value and rarity of the pearl. Furthermore, it uses the artistry of the Q by Aston Martin team to create a truly spectacular car.

Audi
Audi flaunted its four classy models – Audi A8, Audi RS 5 and the first Audi race car in the GT4 category- the R8 LMS GT4 and a brand new range of Audi Sport Performance Parts. Audi is well-known for innovation and technological advancements and the supercar it presented were a marvel in itself.
Lincoln
All new 2018 Lincoln Navigator bringing in finest materials from around the globe into a refined and exclusive collection of carefully curated themes for each model in Lincoln’s range.
Porsche
Four new models for the first time in the region have been launched by the brand. The latest generation Cayenne, as well as the all-new Panamera Sport Turismo, Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid, and the limited edition 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series. The Cayenne is 65 kilograms lighter and has a bigger stance on the road with its wider tyres. All vehicle functions can be operated through a touchscreen display.
Range Rover
Range Rover boasted two different models- the new 2018 Range Rover SVAutobiography Dynamic and Range Rover Sport SVR.
The new Range Rover Sport SVRis equipped with a 5.0-litre V8 petrol engine which has been uprated to produce 575PS and 700Nm of torque. The net result of this power uplift, when combined with 26kg of weight saving measures, is a 0 – 100km/h acceleration time of 4.5 seconds and a maximum speed of 283km/h.
The SVAutobiography Dynamic raises the stakes in terms of comfort and exclusivity whilst also improving its performance. The power output derived from its 5.0-litre Supercharged V8 petrol engine is raised to 565PS.
