Last year, thousands of residents left Dubai to celebrate Eid either with family or to make the most of the Eid holiday deals. But YOU are stuck in Dubai. No family, no friends (as they are all travelling) and too hot to go to the beach. Well, you’re not alone. On the contrary you will be joined by over 1.5 million Saudi tourists this Eid.

According to officials, about 1.5 million Saudis are expected to visit Dubai this Eid. So why would Dubai be the place of choice?

• Arabic traditional themed Eid

Why not submerge yourself into the original Arabic traditions on The Walk at JBR. The event known as Rwaq is specially held during Eid and focuses on showing the region’s heritage and culture. The Walk will be illuminated and have different sections offering traditional food, Eid clothes, street art and live music performances.

• Light up the sky with Eid fireworks

Family and kids always look forward to fireworks. If you want to view the fireworks in celebration of Eid, watch the sky light up at The Beach on Jumeirah Beach Road at  8:30 p.m. The fireworks will be there all throughout the three Eid days.

• Live entertainment with Layali Dubai

Layali Dubai is back this Eid at the World Trade Centre with Rabeh Saqer and Balqees who will perform on the 19 July 2015. Who wouldn’t enjoy dancing to the rhythm of Arabic songs?  Ticket sales have not been announced yet, so make sure you keep an eye out.

• Family excitement with Dubai Summer Surprises

Looking for an event which all family members can be a part of? Yes! Dubai Summer surprises is an annual event that people from the region and the world come to enjoy.
