Du is giving businesses in the UAE a broadband speed upgrade – for free.
From December it will be upgrading all business customers’ internet connections, including large companies and SMEs, by up to three times the speed.
Customers will be notified when they have been upgraded and will see it reflected in their bills from January without additional charge.
Du asked customers not to modify their broadband plans during the upgrade period.
Fahad Al Hassawi, Du’s Chief Commercial Officer, said: “Faster connectivity is key to gaining a competitive advantage in today’s hyper-connected world.”
Du’s Broadband Professional package currently runs from 4MB to 24MB.

Du is also offering home customers a six-month deal to double broadband speed for free.
