Formula 1 is coming back to town – this time bringing stars such as Pharrell Williams, The Who and DJ Armin Van Buuren. It is the last race of the season and will be held in Abu Dhabi, between 21 – 23 November at the Yas Marina Circuit.
The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix is one of the biggest sporting events in the UAE, with the capacity to host 60,000 guests. If the thrill of the race isn’t enough for fans, stars such as Jay Z, Eminem, Muse and Kanye West perform at the Du Arena to keep fans entertained.
Grand Prix tickets
Ticket prices for the Grand Prix start at AED 395 for a one-day pass, and can go up to AED 4,420 for a three-day pass. Packages are also available which include brunch, access to exclusive areas, gifts, paddock access and unlimited food and beverages. These packages range from AED 1,400 to AED 19, 150, and are on sale on Yasmarinacircuit.com.
Don’t forget some Grand Prix – like Abu Dhabi and Singapore – include entertainment, which is included in ticket prices.

Our calculations include approximate prices for the 2015 season tickets (one-day and weekend passes) in selected cities. Keep in mind that ticket prices will vary greatly based on your choices – whether you want just the main race day or a full weekend, where you want to sit etc. The prices mentioned in the table below for one day passes are not necessarily for the main race day.
Based on the costs, here’s what we found:
- On average, Canada’s one-day and weekend passes were the cheapest.
- For one-day passes, starting prices were the highest in Austria, the UAE and Great Britain’s Silverstone.
- Within the GCC, Bahrain weekend passes cost about a third of the price of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on average
- Weekend passes were most expensive in Brazil on average, followed by Monaco and the UAE.
