There’s always been stiff competition among car manufacturers, with each trying to compete in terms of latest technology, design innovations, engine efficiency and a bunch of other parameters.
SUV manufacturers are kicking it up a notch, with their newest models offering all the latest upgrades. Let’s find out what these new SUV models are bringing to the table in 2017:
Volkswagen Atlas

This power train is a family car with ample amount of leg space and a spacious boot. This seven-seater will be available in two engine types – a 2.0-liter turbocharged and direct-injection four cylinder engine or a 3.6-liter V6 with 280 horsepower. Which of these engine types will be launched in the UAE is yet to be revealed by VW. The Atlas will also come with features such as adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning and post collision warning system.
Jeep Grand Cherokee

When shortlisting cars with off-road capabilities, without a doubt, the Jeep Cherokee will definitely make it to your list. The latest model still holds the signature design but with many new features, and is powered by a 5.7-liter V8 engine with an output of 360 horsepower. If you are looking for an adventure and want to hit the dunes, this all terrain vehicle is up for any challenge. It is packed with features such as insulated cabin, real leather upholstery, and Jeep’s uConnect infotainment system that allows easy access to media and car details, all on a high resolution 8.4 inch screen.
GMC Acadia

GMC is known for its large sized SUV’s, but this family-friendly SUV just got an upgrade in design and specifications. It looks more futuristic with its new chrome trimmed grille and LED lighting. Its 20-inch alloy wheels are made for all terrains. Some of the features that the Acadia comes with include an infotainment system, driver alert package, lane change and blind zone warning and much more. It is powered by a 3.5 Liter V6 hydra-matic engine which is required for off-roading to ensure enough power is supplied to all four wheels.
